Default Wlan + Broadband = Connection Drop!

Hi guys .. i have a little problem.. i have ps3 and i stream the videos to the ps3 using ps3mediaserver application since i dont have to transfer files to pendrive and then use it on ps3 .. since ps3 supports only wlan ( couldnt connect it thru my laptops wifi ) i am using dataone WA3002G4 router. off lately the connection seems to drop when i use torrent(vuze) and ps3mediaserver together.. sometime they are stable .. other times the connection drops.. please help me.. i have enabled Xpress technology under wifi in router page.. is there a way i can increase the bandwidth ? when i use the ps3mediaserver exclusively without a torrent the connection is very stable and i can FastForward too... why is it happening ? i dont know anyone in other forum would be able to answer this one .. so help me guys ...

What is your tariff plan ? If 256 Kbps U/L,
Could be the reason.

Post ADSL data

Line speed seems high for GDMT selected.
( usually seen if ADSL2+ selected )
( select different mods: keeping only two
and bitswap enabled always )
You may.loose internet connection also.
Keep a stable connection setting.

For comparison: . mine 2Mbps line.

Even if your car or motor cycle can go 150 Km/hour,in
our city roads you have to crawl at 20 to 30Km/ speed .

Same way the modem is capable of high speed, but ISP's
line conditions, and tariff plan slow down your surfing.
A person having a 2Mbps connection is better placed than a user with 256 Kbps connection. ( 8times faster{*conditions apply}

I warned/mentioned about disconnection earlier.

You can try TCP/IP optimizer from speedguide.net
for tweaking your settings.
