If you need wifi mode for laptop sl2_141 is better.
MT841 wireless card difficult to get.
( Range depends on height of antenna /location etc )
Normally a radius of 30 to 40 feet possible (*conditions apply)

some circles do not provide all modems , you may not have a choice.. you may have to go with whatever they have..
oh..ok but if i outright purchase then i guess i will get a choice? or won't i?
i wrote them an application that i want a type IV modem will they give MT841 or siemens? cause siemens is type B i guess..
I want Wifi in two adjacent rooms with two walls in between, there is about only 5 ft distance between them but about 2 feet walls there are two walls (20 inch, 5 inch) and 3 ft b/w them so what do you think essebe will it work?
P.S i would keep the router next to 20 inch wall, and there are two gates which are not parallel on the walls.![]()

All will cost Rs 1600/= plus taxes.
Rent Rs 80/PM.
Thickness ( width )of the partition wall normally max 9 inches ( brick cement ). You say 2 feet .
Hope by proper positioning of the WIFI unit wireless access may be possible.
9 inches only :O what do i do now? well, i will keep the wirless router in front of one gate, then it will have to pass only through the 5 inch wall and 3 ft distance..![]()
@Nikunj93
Sorry. Unable to understand, the lay out
of your rooms etc.

i meant it depends on availability.. you could try though..
wifi routers should typically work for one full independent house..
