If you need wifi mode for laptop sl2_141 is better.
MT841 wireless card difficult to get.
( Range depends on height of antenna /location etc )
Normally a radius of 30 to 40 feet possible (*conditions apply)

some circles do not provide all modems , you may not have a choice.. you may have to go with whatever they have..

I want Wifi in two adjacent rooms with two walls in between, there is about only 5 ft distance between them but about 2 feet walls there are two walls (20 inch, 5 inch) and 3 ft b/w them so what do you think essebe will it work?
P.S i would keep the router next to 20 inch wall, and there are two gates which are not parallel on the walls.

i meant it depends on availability.. you could try though..
wifi routers should typically work for one full independent house..
