Thread: how to set the password for shared internet connection

Hello all,
I am using BSNL broadband connection.
I am able to share the connection using wired LAN.
But I want to set the password for the internet connection from server side.
In present case each one can access the net connection if LAN is preset.
But I want to restrict for net connection from server side.
e.g: If I am a server and I want to allow only no.3 and no.5 computer can access the net then I want to set the password, if i will enter the password then only they will get the bet connection otherwise they will just use LAN connection.

I think you should make a search for internet cafe softwares. Most of them offer this facility. You can control and monitor systems on your LAN .

Use Proxy Server CCProxy - Easy-to-use Proxy Software for Windows 2000/98/XP/NT/2003/Vista at your server... Free version can support upto 3 computers... You can block the local ip's through it whenever you don't wanna share internet connection...
