I am having a problem with my Huawei SmartAX MT841 Router. I am not able to reset its factory settings....i upgraded the firmware to DeC 2005....i need to reset the settings....or if anyone has July 2005 firmware pls post the link....can i downgrade??? Pls help anyone?

Post the current version of FW.
better not try again FW upgrade or downgrade.
Explain what is the problem.

V100R001C01B021SP03 Dec 23 2005 is my current firmware version. i need to downgrade to July 2005 version ie V100R001C01B021SP01. it was the recommended firmware so i upgraded it.....now i m facing reduction in speed....and not able to change or reset my settings.

2. Try to tweak with TCP/IP optimizer from speedguide.net.
Check speed before and after applying the tweaks.

i am not able to change or reset settings of my router. i am facing speed problem. so may be some problem with my router. if i can fix it by getting factory firmware and reseting it.

RESET the modem & try again.
All present settings will be lost.

Start run type cmd type ipconfig /all
Tthe default gateway show is your modem's.

If internet is connected post from Summary page
Mod selected snr attn data.

Your modem settings are satisfactory.
No need to change.
Are you trying to reset
from modem menu , or
( under maintenence/ tools ? )
Hard reset by pressing the button in the rear. ?
NO need. to reset.
For speed improvement you can try
tcp/ip optimizer from speedguide.net.
