What do you mean by 'fast torrentz'?

anyway since you say that you have 750 plan...they won't download at more than 25-30 kbps.

I am not sure whether that's 'fast' enough for you or not. for me it was 'fast' for almost 3 years.

your bandwidth does not allow you to download beyond 32kBps if at all you get more than that it will be for a few seconds thats all... for more info about the torrent downloading search the forum & you will find many threads to help your need

That is true. You cannot get anything more than your Plan speed. But you can ensure you get those by using good torrent (many factors like higher no. of seeds). You can also limit the upload speed. Right click the active torrent and adjust the upload speed to 1 KBps under bandwidth allocation.

    A useful reference

Forwarding the ports doesnt helps either as there is no use of it if you have 750 plan, there's no effect on speed i have done it several times

    Strange.

I never got full uploading speed till I opened the relevant ports. Download speed was normal regardless, but if you use private trackers you need as much upload speed as possible.

I use UL 750, instead of port forwarding, I use a simple trick. When there is an error icon (no incoming connection), i double click it and simply change the speed as 256 kbps, Test if the port....., and then click the use selected setting. Now i get 30+ KBps which is the maximum in UL 750.

What is your download speed otherwise? ie, with download managers like DAP and IDM. If that is better, please try port forwarding. Here is the tutorial.

Please note that some torrents give a lower speed.

offtopic: Use flashget, its free of charge unlike IDM.

And is relatively free from adware and spyware. It also integrates well with Firefox+flashgot.

thats right.. i too disagree.. without port forwarding i dont think your speed would go more than 5-10kb/s

How did you managed that. The maximum speed is only 32KBps. May be you are talking about some download managers.
