    Default Unable to get connected?

Hello everybody I am a subscriber of BSNL Broadband and from last 15-20 days I am unable to get connected to BSNL Broadband connection . The problem started after I changed my plan from 750HomeUL to 250 plan. Whenever I try to connect it only shows 'Connecting to WAN Miniport PPPoE...' and gives error:815. I had contacted BSNL but they says that everything is alright from their side. My modem is Ustarcom UA3002-g1.
    Please help

I too use UL 750 and had no connection problems so far. Please post your ipconfig/all screen shots.

    Default VISTA error 815

    your OS is Vista ?

    815 - Failed to connect.

Windows Vista Only - This error occurs only with Windows Vista. It "replaces" error codes 676, 678, 691 and 769 from Windows XP and earlier, and covers at least 4 different causes of failure to connect. This error can occur on attempts to make a DSL connection. The actual detailed reason for the failure to connect does not show up on the standard Vista error screen, but is available if you look hard enough and includes:

    * Line is busy (for DSL the line isn't really busy, but the DSL server has a problem)
    * Remote Computer did not respond (there is a connectivity error)
    * Username or Password Error (the username and/or password specified for the DSL connection is incorrect or not recognized by the DSL server)
    * Destination Host Unreachable (networking or network card error)

Go to your usage portal , and check ( 14digit portal Id /PW)

User Id ; Password re enter old password again.

    or

try "always On" connection. User id without @ bsnl.in and password to be entered in WAN page.

Start/ run type cmd type ping 192.168.1.1
Start run type cmd type ipconfig /all
    post data.
From modem Diagnostics page. Failed entries.

ping to modem access is very bad.
you need an Ip address for IPV4.

    Start/network/LAn properties
    tcp/ippage
    disable ipv6
    select tcp/ip
    properties
    select obtain ip address automatically.
    enter dns
    208.67.220.220
    and 208.67.222.222
    apply save.

feedback Positive or negative. Both welcome.
