| Yes. 500 plans have a download/upload limit. While using Night Unlimited, your download and upload will not be counted for billing. But make sure you switch off the modem and on it before night unlimited. Otherwise, you will not get the benefit.Switch it off a minute before 8 O clock. To do this automatically, use Imran's Broadband Utility Last edited by meetdilip; 04-21-09 at 12:12 AM. |

| you can download as much as 2 gb a day ie in 6 hrs from 2:00 AM to 8:00 AM ... this period of time is not included in the billing period. so you can download as much as you want in this 6 hrs.Excluding these hrs you have 2.5 gb / month |

| Bronze Member | It is better to start downloading at 2:04 AM and stop downloading at 7:56AM.. In this period you can download about 5-6gb on a good torrent |

Rep Power: 2 | The speed for Home 500 is 2mbps=256kBps Out of which you can get up to 240kBps for HTTP downloads if you use a good download manager (IDM,FDM,DAP etc) So, at 200kBps(atleast ) you can download :- 6 x 3600 x 200kBps = 4.11GB(atleast) For torrents you should get somewhere around 140-220kBps for good no of seeders, better use multiple torrents at a time. To be on safer side, reboot your modem or PC at 2 AM and 7:55 AM to avoid the chargeable over download . Search for download automation in HOME 500 topics in this forum, you should find good amount of relevant information about downloading in night unlimited plan.
