Default Need help with TELENET TNDSL 2120 router modem for BSNL

    "Wide Area Network (WAN) Setup

Choose Add, Edit, or Remove to configure WAN interfaces.
Choose Save/Reboot to apply the changes and reboot the system.

VPI/VCI Con. ID Category Service Interface Protocol Igmp QoS State

    0/35 1 UBR pppoe_0_35 nas_0_35 Bridge N/A Disabled Enabled
    1/39 1 UBR mer_1_39 nas_1_39 MER Disabled Disabled Enabled"

    Hi Friends,

I have presented the details of the WAN setup page of my telenet TNDSL 2120 router modem.

I am using it for my new BSNL broad band connection. THE bsnl people have told me that for their connection only the line starting with 0/35 should be there and the line starting with vpi/vci value of 1/39 should not be there (i have set that line in different font color). So i tried to remove that line by checking the remove option and saving and restarted the router modem, even then that line reappears. Can any one help me with that.

    just try this

    1. telnet to your modem/router
    2. provide your username and password
    3. once logged in, type 'help'
    4. search for command to save your configuration. Mostly it must be 'saveall'. Type that option and press enter
    5. exit
    6. Reboot and check

1.Do you connect to internet with the Dialer normally ?

2.What is the problem, you get ,
if line 1_39 remains in the WAN page ?
    It should not show "ENABLED"

3.If any, still want to delete it
So i tried to remove that line by checking the remove option and saving and restarted the router modem,
    After Save
    go to Maintenance and
    Click SAVE REBOOT.
    Wait for two minutes.

Your modem is similar to beetel 220Bx
and there is no harm if the line remains.

    Compare Device info:
    and confirm.
    Software version will be different
    but modem pages appear same.
