    @kunalup
    try to select the mod to GDMT /t413/glite/ADSL2 bitswap enabled
    or keep only ADSL2+ Annex M.

    2. Post screen shot of Statistics ADSL page.

    3. Or better still
    screen shots of all pages of the modem.

    4. Post this data
    Start run type cmd type ipconfig /all

    If not, ATF Cleaner seems to solve this issue

    Try downloading..http://www.atribune.org/ccount/click.php?id=1

    Step 1-
    1. Run the exe, under Main tab, choose Select All
    2. Click the Empty Selected button.

    Step 2- For Firefox browsers
    1. Click Firefox at the top and choose Select All
    2. Click the Empty Selected button. (clean all including passwords)

    Step 3 - For Opera browser

    1. Click Opera at the top and choose Select All
    2. Click the Empty Selected button. (clean all including passwords)

    try now!

    Default ATF cleaner .exe about 43 KB

    @skap
    Seems a faster program compared to CCleaner.
    Will test and recommend. Thanks.

    2. Tariff plan unlimited :may be 256Kbps speed.
    Please suggest, whether
    any change can be made in modem settings
    to increase the UPLOAD default speed.
    ( seems too low).Annexure in Post No 21.
    upstream 244 Kbps
    downstream about 2000Kbps.

    I was going to suggest
    to select ADSL2+ as mod mode .
    or try different modes.

    I think the value for default gateway should be 192.168.1.1

    Try this link

    http://www.indiabroadband.net/broadb...nectivity.html (How to repair - Limited or No connectivity)

    Did you try DHCP? I saw you have manually configured in your TCP/IP.

    * Disable other adapters in your computer
    * Enable DHCP in your computer (DHCP is enabled by default in modem unless you changed it)

    after that , post ipconfig/all settings pleae

    @skap
    i did this
    To enable DHCP, follow these steps:

    1. On the Start Menu, select Control Panel > Network Connections.
    2. Right-click the appropriate connection name and select Properties.
    3. Select TCP/IP Protocol, and then select Properties.
    4. On the General tab, select Obtain an IP address automatically.
    5. Click OK.

    but after doing this it says limited or no connection....
    so had to reset it to manual as it wasnt connecting to the internet...
    i have only one network adapter;plz explain by what you mean by disable other adapters...

    thnx...

    @dilip
    i have already posted that screenshot as 1.jpg on 4th page.

    Are you dialing from your computer?

    see in 1.jpg, the pic you have attached. There are lot of adapters. If you are dialing from your computer PPP adapter is ok. But what are other adapters doing?
