Do you use a firewall? My firewall used to give me similar problems. Try attaching an image to this site. To do that, click post reply, then you will find an option for attachment. If you cannot, please specify.

Firewalls give such problems. Disable your firewall protection and check.

I had to uninstall my sygate firewall (It is from Norton) to solve this problem.

some more options to check are

    a. try opendns
    b. try disabling active scanning of Antivirus (what AV do you use?)

It sounds like a BSNL problem. Please post a written complaint to Cheif Accounts Officer stating the facts and no reply on complaints. Address and phone no will be on the backside of your bill. After that give him a call and speak to him. The limit for jpeg image is 2 MB and the file you tried, was that greater than 2 MB?

Please state the firewall you use. And since when you had this problem? Like after installing firewall ? Have you ever tried this without firewall installed. I had to reinstall Windows to remove the effect of my malfunctioning Comodo firewall ( which I used earlier). But your case seems to be BSNL related. Just try Google Chrome (not sure about the result).

Here is the value for Open DNS

i had mcafee total security,so when i uninstalled firewall even the antivirus was uninstalled.but this dint solve the problem.when i tried for open dns i had limited or no connectivity most of times so i set the following setting
    ip 192.168.1.1
    subnet 255.255.255.0
    gateway 192.168.1.1
    dns 218.248.255.145
    alt:-218.248.255.193

i have also tried with dns like 208.67.222.222;208.67.220.220
    61.1.96.69;61.1.96.71

I thought FW or AV must be creating an issue but didnt. anyway try this option in firefox...even if u use other browsers.

In firefox, type: "about:config" in the address bar
then, type in "ipv6" in the top filter bar
if the value = "false", right click and select "toggle".
the value now should change from "false" to "true".

    see update my previous post.
Any solution should work for all Browsers.
    Many secure sites will not
respond in Firefox. I use IETAB add on in FF.
