Rep Power: 1  |  BSNL router problem - some sites won't open Hi, I have a WA3002-g4 wireless router from bsnl. I having this strange problem of some sites opening and some sites like youtube.com, warez-bb.org and many more not opening. I have a spare UT-304R2 and all the sites are running smoothly on it including the one i mentioned. When i talked to customer care they said that there is a problem in server, we'll fix it in two days. Its been 2 weeks and nothing has changed. I even restarted with factory default setting for the WA3002 router but in vain. I remember having the same problem last year. To fix it i switched with another WA30032-g4 in the office and that solved everything. But now i dont have another router to switch with. I can use UT-304 to access those sites but its not wireless. I was wondering if someone has any idea how solve it without switching modem.  |

Rep Power: 12  | In WAN or LAN page check the MTU value it can be set to 1492. Also in the modem you can enter opendns 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222 ref:New Page 1 feedback please. Also confirm you are using "Dialer" mode or "Always On"mode. |

I changed the primary dns and secondary dns to opendns as you said and in the PPPoE/PPPoA setting there was a TCP MTU option, changed it to 1492 from 1500 as you said. when i saw the sites working, there was a tear in my eye  THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! | |

Rep Power: 12 | @stirredo Glad to have helped. can say something +ve or -ve also about my post. Click the "Scale" Icon against my post. These two tweaks are the usual "Saridon " and "Digene" here.!!! Probably a record solved in 30 minutes.! because you are computer "savvy". |
