Thread: BSNL-Suggest me to choose the right plan

Hello everyone,

I've a netone connection(i know its the slowest one can ever get so forgive me).
I live in Coimbatore(Kuniamuthur).
I wanna have a broadband connection(BSNL or any other). So here are some of my requirements,

*My budget is RS.250 to Rs.500 a month.
*I'll be downloading a lots of stuffs like movies, music, games . . . .etc.
*I need a download speed about 30KBps.
*I'll be connected to the net, mostly after 9.00PM.
I guess this it .. . . ..

i read your post but you forgot to mention what you want us to help you in....
i think you are asking for plan of BB ok
As your budget is up to 500 you will get only 250 plan which has 1 gb limit so you cant download much just 1 gb for whole month without free hours,

if you can raise your budget a little say till 700 then you can get 500C plan where in day you will get 2.5 gb limit and at night from 2 AM - 8 AM you can download as much as you want, no limit in that time.

1. BSNL is the cheapest connection available. As you are in Coimbatore, you can get choose other providers also. But the rate will be higher when compared to BSNL.

2. Since you like downloading, that too big files, you can choose one of the 500 plans. They are namely Home 500 and Home 500C. They give you somewhere between 150 - 200 KBps (Yes, I meant KBps, not kbps).

These plans are limited, ie, you cannot download + upload beyond a particular limit, BUT they have night unlimited scheme.You can download without any limit between 2 am and 8 am.

There are some software using which we can set these downloads to these time and sleep comfortably. If you opt for this connection, please put a post here and we will be happy to share them. Most of the users in this forum use one of the 500 plans.

3. If you want to limit your monthly rent to Rs.250, you can use Home - 250 Plan. It give the same speed as 500 plans. But your limit will be 1 GB and night unlimited is not available.

Yes meetdilip is right. I want to add a correction to post number 2. Home 500C will give you 1.5 GB free upload+download at day time with night unlimited facility where no phone rent is required and you will get 175 calls free. and if you do not cross the day time free usage limit then your monthly bill will be 561.80 with tax

vijil101, Since you want to download like every one said go for Home500c,home500c+ as mentioned earlier. Dont worry about staying awake at night upto 2 AM and wake up at 8 AM. Everything can be automated and there are many good tutorials in this website.
