Default Unable to browse/download last day !!

At about 8 PM. I opened up my IRC client and I saw it couldn't connect to server. I tried to log in to some websites, I got page cannot be displayed error. I tried to open Google, MSN, indiabroadband.net, and some other sites, and got same error. Now I tried bsnl.co.in and it worked !!!. I restarted my pc, router, lan card, yet same problem. Today morining at about 7 AM I finaly saw every thing went back to normal. No downloads last night

Same problem occured at my dad's office last night. Anyone else had this problem or knows what might have happened.

Btw... the power cuts + heat, here in kolkata, are killing me.... makes me feel like I'm back at stone age.

Which ISP do you use...? by the section you posted i guess its BSNL
I also use the BSNL BB but there is nothing like that infact the speed is very good from yesterday evening as i am in 750 UL plan and speed is 32~35 kBps previously it was 28~32 kBps.... lets wait for others reviews.

The interesting thing was within the same exchange there was no problem with my friends. I confirmed the same around 10 PM, So I suspected some bugs in my system or modem. Virus scan....System restore....changing DNS server ...rebooting....... :52:........:sweatdrop: after 12 O clock  Morning 5AM :tooth: everything OK

Well, I resetted firewall settings of antivirus, and changed the dns but still the problem persisted.
