Thread: Help needed for DSL 2640T modem + DI-804HV vpn router in VPN SETUP

i have a DSL 2640t modem with bsnl PPoE connection , and i want to add
DI-804HV vpn router to it for a PPTP vpn setup....and using xp dialup as vpn client (pptp) at the remote end...

can any body help me out in configuring DSL 2640t modem n DI-804HV vpn router for setting out vpn

confirm you have installation Cd's for both dlink units.

can you post the VPN settings screen..then it is easy to guide you accordingly.

before that
1. Do you have Static IP?
2. Let us know the IP details of your network.

you have to set your network similar to the diagram before proceeding to configure VPN

Presently i dont have a static ip,will be configuring the vpn with dynamic ip with dns configured by dyndns..
Network range is 192.168.0.0@local lan
Do i need to configure bridge mode on dsl 2640t??

bridge mode not required...can u post screenshots of vpn router VPN settings, WAN settings, IP settings)?

I have the same combination. There is no problem with the internet acces (DSL-2640B) with static IP. It works properly.

I try to enable the vpn and the communication between two router but
