Default DNA-A211-I modem in bridge mode and PPPoE client on PC

    Hi,

I have a broadband connection with DNA-A211-I configured in PPPoE mode.
In this case a global IP address is assigned to the modem where it has the PPPoE client. I would like to have the modem in bridge mode and run a PPPoE client on my PC, so the global IP address gets assigned to my PC directly.

Can somebody help me in this regard?

    Thanks and regards,
    Hemanth

    Check this link.
Modem/router hardware baord and menu pages same.
    http://www.indiabroadband.net/bsnl-b...reference.html (UTSTAR WA3002-G4 quick reference)

1.Save present modem settings to say/ C:/My Documents /DNAmodem settings.
    2. Then access the modem menu
and uncheck PPPoE and select "Bridged"
    Save reboot.
    3. Use external Dialer In computer to
enter UserID AND pw TO CONNECT to Internet.
