Are you sure that you had done: "Save and Reboot/Restart" after changing the settings.

After making sure that you have set-up everything, restart your modem, and utorrent and see if that works.

    Ya done those too...

I downloaded a tool for port checking from this LINK

After installing, it was showing that my ports are still not open!!! What else to do? I am really getting screwed up!!!

    Offtopic:

There is an easier way to check if your port is forwarded. Just replace the number in this URL with port number you want to be forwarded:
    Code:
    http://www.utorrent.com/testport.php?port=1337

Here goes a screenshot of the application: (see the attachment)

    Can someone help?

One thing I forgot to mention: I have forwarded port from both
The Huawei SmartAX MT882 (using THIS guide) [see the attached file]
The Linksys WRT54G WiFi Router (using THIS guide) [see the attached file]

And if I am right, the icon you are talking about, that is, a yellow exclamation mark, doesn't indicate that your port is not forwarded. It sometimes goes yellow when peers connect and disconnect and there are no remote connections.

Click the icon in Utorrent to "Check if port is forwarded correctly", and see how it goes. It has sometimes worked wonders for many when they do that.

you have to setup first port forwarding in mt882 by creating a rule to forward all traffic on a particular port to 192.168.x.x(this is your 54g wifi address given by mt882).after that only your rules of port forwarding in 54g will work.my suggestion is setup mt882 in bridge mode(from pppoe mode)& then setup wrt54g in pppoe mode with above port forward rules & it should work.
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?

Dear "whitestar", thanks for the suggestion. But let me tell u one thing very frankly. Creating connection between WRT54G and MT882 was itself a hard nut to crack. And after facing all the hardships, by God's grace, I finally managed to establish connection between the two. And now u r telling me to configure MT882 to bridge mode and 54G to PPPoE mode... In fact, I don't know how to do it.

How do I know which address has been allotted to 54G by the MT882?

Moreover, ISN'T THERE A SIMPLE WAY OUT?????? It's really aching my head, I am thinking to forget about port-forwarding forever (out of desperation)....

    Did you really read this?
Try using some other torrent if you can.

    @sou_1234321

only 1 thing i believe we have misconfigured.

    1. connect http://192.168.1.1 (your modem)
    2. Navigate to virtual server list
    3. Edit U-Tor settings IP address to 192.168.2.1
    4. Edit U-Tor UDP settings IP address to 192.168.2.1

    please check PM

essbebe, you must stop writing in c++/java/uml or such. No offence meant.
