Please use Windows Scheduler to run it.

in windows vista i ran it windows task shedular,it didn't work but now i am on windows xp and when i had set up with windows task shedular then also it didn't work!!!!!!!!!!!

Please try and update. What benefit will Vista Task Scheduler do in XP. I doubt some error in your batch file. Where you able to run it successfully ?

man if i say i really not have downloaded a single file at night!!!!!

in xp t says "it might not work properly because there is no password"

Give a try to "Imran's Broadband helper Utility".
It is an all in one program to manage entire night.

To do

1. Try to connect manually by using connect/ disconnect using dialler.

2. Run the batch files connect and disconnect now and check.

3. If 1 & 2 give positive results, try Windows Scheduler or Freebyte Task Scheduler to run your batch files.

4. Change your system clock to 1.50 am and schedule it for 2.00 am and check.

Imran's is a very good tool. Please post the link for the latest file. I heard somewhere that Imran was not able to upload it to his synthasite site.

By that way you can check whether it really gets connected on 2.00 am or not.

Just keep the system clock now to 1:55 AM and enable the scheduler then wait for 5 min and check if it works then revert back the time to original, else try again

If you are not making fun of me,

When you set a scheduled task at 2.00 am, task scheduler will run it 2.00 in system clock. If you set your system clock to 2.00 am, you can check whether your system will actually be connected to net at original 2.00 am in the morning.

well no you shouldnt.. when you say "start bb" i presume you mean dial the connection at that point of time..

It does not matter when you start, it matters only when you are connected. If your internet connection starts at 2.15 am, it doesn't matter if utorrent starts at 2.00 am. utorrent scheduler does not have 2.15 am start up. You can set to a scheduled task to run utorrent at 2.15 am if you wish.

i have a problem now!
look after i came back to xp from vista i have started using task sheduler and since i walk up every morning and OHG! the computer is hanged. and no download not a bit.

Try running the files now and check which task is causing the problem.
