    Default Help related to Billing

    Hi
    I have HOME-1000 plan [5GB] and have got my bill for March. In the website under 'Chargable Units (KB) Excluding Night Unlimited' is 4.4 GB. But in the bill they have mentioned Usage as 5494 and charged me some extra money for 374MB. I did not understand this. Is the billing wrong or am i missing something here?

    BSNL portals do not update on a real time basis. It seems that they are still to update some of the usage. Please speak to BSNL authorities and confirm. Better talk to Senior Divisional Engineer (SDE) than a customer care person.

    To avoid this, most of us use a bandwidth meter, which measures usage independently. Click here to download.

    Please note that the value may differ a bit from BSNL portal. Counter check at regular intervals. To be on a safer side leave a gap of 50 MB.

    Since you are using Night Unlimited, consider using 500, 500 C or 500 C+ plans. Please try this link for details

    Do you have a 14 digit portal Id and password,
    to check your BB in websites of BSNL ?
    Get it from Exchange.
    The log these usage portals .
    http:/bbservice.bsnl.in
    or
    BSNL Portal

    Select the month and look for billed usage.

    Post the summary as shown on top.

    Please post images as jpeg. A lot of us use limited plan. Bigger files eat a lot of bandwidth.

    It should be a server error. Either late in uploading or an original error. Please lodge a complaint as I mentioned earlier.

    From the portal image posted by you it is clear that your usage is under the usage limit .........
    thus there could be two factors governing your extra billing charges :-
    (1).either non-updating of the portal site with your usage or
    (2).a accounting error at their end which could be got rectified by approaching the local BSNL officials .

    what was u r previous month usage, i had too same experience, my usage was 998 MB and last month usage was 1125, so they charged me extra 90Rs and bill was 250 + 90 = 340Rs
