    Default Fluctuating SNR Values

IS it normal to Fluctuate SNR values too much?
I changed the DSL mode from ADSL2+ to GDMT on my SmartAX MT 880 and checked the downstream values. ATTN is constant at 21db. But the SNR values are coming from 12 to 29 each time i refresh the page. Is this normal??

I thought it is too much of fluctuation.
If it is not normal, what could be the reason?
    Any coments?

SNR values do fluctuate but not by this much. Your line may have a problem.

    • I hope you are using a splitter to split voice and data lines.
    • The splitter must be at the first entry point of the telephone line of the house.
    • Modem must be directly connected to splitter and all telephones must be connected to the voice port.
    • There should not be more than one splitter in the circuit.

there is a famous saying that :-
"if it's not broken .............. never try to fix it "

thus if i you didn't had any problems earlier with your mode settings then please don't change your mode ............
and if case you were facing problems then just quote the real problem out here on the forum maybe we could help ................
