I have a bsnl 250 plan now i want to upgrade it to 750 home plan .
whats the procedure

If I change my BB 250 plan to 750 on the 2nd of May,then will my plan get activated this month(as it is only 2 days into the month)

Don't take any chances, pls go through the threads with links given above.

Don't expect it to be changed immediately. The safe option is to consider it changed "NEXT month" from the month in which you applied (given you applied before 25th of current month). Even then, confirm with BSNL Customer care as to which plan you have!

Another way is to login to data.bsnl.in and go into "postpaid orders" in menu and enter your telephone number in the format given and click search. It'll show you the plan you have and the date of implementation.

if the plan is changed midway, D/Lspeed can/may reduce drastically to say 20KB/sec
