Dear members, I recently took BSNL wifi connection (am not a computer savy and that BSNL technician just gave router and ran away without doing any connection). Initially when I used to connect to wifi network than I was getting this error, limited or no connectivity. But I could still use the net. Later on setting the IP nos as per one of the posts here, I was able to connect to the wifi network (my router) without getting that error. Now I see that some of the posts here mention configuring the router, so was curious to know whether I need to do something like that?! as anyhow my internet is working .. Port forwarding : Please see this web site: portforwarding.com If you are using a "Dialer" not needed. ( You enter UserID and PW in a dialer window and connect.) Not needed unless you want to download from torrent sites, movies, music etc. What is your surfing needs ? What is your tariff plan ? |
