I hope your modem is configured with wireless security settings. you can go to modem web page via ip 192.168.1.1 and configure or restore the wireless settings. For that you will have to connect ur modem to laptop in Ethernet port.

previously were you using a dialer to connect to the internet? or does the internet work as soon as you switch on your modem?

    Default Wa1003A settings

The little I know about Dataone Broadband Services offered by BSNL

From same website select for "dialer"mode.

Modem settings are not affected, when you format the laptop.

    In computer :
1.check Network/LAN or wireless LAN properties
    Status repair etc.

    If network/s not seen

    Then
    2.Start/All programs/Accessories/communications
    Network connection Wizard.

    3.Try the Ethernet connection.

    4. Then the Wireless Network Wizard.
( For Vista could be different )

    Feedback.
