Default Problem with UTstarcom wifi router on macbook

    Hi,

I am using a BSNL connection with UTStarcom modem. I am trying to use the wifi to connect my macbook to the internet.

Although the mac recognizes the network, I am not able to connect to the internet. Tried entering my username and password (Like i do on the dial up on a PC) in 802.1 tab on the mac, but it says connecting for a few minutes and then gives up.

I read in a few threads that I can change the router to "Always ON" and changing the settings, but am not sure how. Would appreciate if someone can help me with a step by step guide.

    Thanks in Advance,
