Thread: Any scripts for NIC enable and disable?

i am using internet explorer and scheduled tasks to reboot my modem.(thanx to a IB forum member)as i am using opera and firefox to browse.
Now i am using imrans utility only for enabling and disabling NIC and also for shut down.
After some observation i know that imrans utility is not accurate in the case of time.it lags but scheduled tasks works perfect.
If i am getting two scripts,

1. For enabling and disabling NIC
2.For shutting down PC at a particular time.

Then i can remove imran utility.Also no need to check its running in system tray.Scheduled tasks will perform accurate when ur pc is on.

Solutions plz......

You can use Devcon utility from Microsoft to Enable/Disable any device you want and AutoShutDown software can be used to schedule shutdowns.
