I think when set in PPPoE mode, your Linux will identify the network connection at the ethernet port.
i jus took the conn on 7th may. my conn was not PPPoE. i jus configured it from the help of dis site.
my linux is not identifying my conn
i m gettin page load error wen i try to load pages
post output of ifconfig from the terminal
Assume you have configured in bridge mode, if so, still you have to configure pppoe in linux for dialing (interface ppp0)
Which conn? Is it ppp0? Post result of ifconfig -a from a terminalmy linux is not identifying my conn
i m gettin page load error wen i try to load pages
Please mention your modem - model and make
dont know wat happened. i got the connection ok in linux wen i restarted. i hav tried many times dis.
i had configured the modem in the pppoe mode early also.
any way i m postin the o/p of the ifconfig command
