    can anyone help me to use bsnl broadband via BOSS(its an indian version of linux)

    I think when set in PPPoE mode, your Linux will identify the network connection at the ethernet port.

    i jus took the conn on 7th may. my conn was not PPPoE. i jus configured it from the help of dis site.
    my linux is not identifying my conn
    i m gettin page load error wen i try to load pages

    Assume you have configured in bridge mode, if so, still you have to configure pppoe in linux for dialing (interface ppp0)

    Which conn? Is it ppp0? Post result of ifconfig -a from a terminal

    dont know wat happened. i got the connection ok in linux wen i restarted. i hav tried many times dis.
    i had configured the modem in the pppoe mode early also.

    any way i m postin the o/p of the ifconfig command
