    Default New BSNL Broadband connection not working

    Hi,

    I am Atul from Lucknow, U.P. I am bsnl dataone user from 2006.
    but I disconnected my connection 6 month ago. Now i have new bsnl broadband connection which is on multiplay network ip range 117.XXX.XXX.XXX .
    but i have smartAX MT882 modem & my username & password is not working on it .
    please tell that new broadband multiplay connection work on smartAX MT882 modem & if so then how to configure the modem.

    1) Do you mean that you are not being connected to internet after setting up the modem with your username and password?

    2) Or, is it so that the settings are not accepted (or restored) after modem restart?

    (i) Go to
    http://192.168.1.1
    (ii) Go to Home>WAN Settings.
    (iii) Enter the values as in the attached screenshot
    :

    (iv) Enter username and password. Click on Apply.
    (v) Go to Tools>System Setting and click 'Save and Restart'. Wait while the modem is restarted.

    4) Post your current condition (with further steps you took, if nothing above is working for you).

    If fails, reset your modem and enter the settings as mentioned above.

    Default doesnt work

    i am not being connected to internet after setting up the modem with username and password.

    It's not like it stop working after some time ,
    it's never start working , I mean my new connection's username & pass
    dosnt work for even onces.

    I tried every thing but didnt work.

    Is your DSL light staying intact, or does it keep on blinking?

    yes, its keep blinking.

    but when i put username- multiplay & pass- multiplay, the light stay intact(red).
    with ip 10.239.54.X but i couldnt access any thing.

    @atullko
    Try and confirm you can access modem settings menu.
    http://192.168.1.1/hwhtml/pMain.html
    admin password admin.

    Then follow instructions given in post No2 by @dhaneshv.

    After SAVE go to maintenence and click SAVE/REBOOT again. Wait for 2 minutes.
