Question Switching between two internet connections. Need help !!!

I'm a Home500 plan user and using Huawei MT882 modem. I am planning for an Airtel Broadband connection but also want to keep the BSNL Home 500 connection. I want to know if there is any way I could switch between two internet connections using a single modem from my desktop without having to plug or unplug ADSL wires of two broadband connections eachtime I switch between two connections ?

Use Bridge mode and create two diallers. Unplug the BSNL connection from the modem and plug in the Airtel line. I think will give the result as the same modem can be used for both connections. But not sure about other values.

You can use both the lines in the single modem to connect but you cannot keep both phone lines always connected, the least you have to do is remove the telephone line of BSNL & connect of Airtel or V V..

With AX MT882 modem , if you program for both Isps's

    vpi/vci airtel 1 32 and bsnl 0 35 in " bridged' mode,
You have to change only the RJ11 input to the ADSL splitter from correct ISP as explained above.

In AX MT882 see the summary page and ensure the "Green" button is shown. Click the "NOTE" icon.
if you use "Always On " PPP/PPPoE mode.

I am using the same modem MT882 this way only.
    But with Beetel 110BX1 connection
is automatic when ISP is changed.
    Only Rj11 to be connected.
( of course settings made for both ISP's. )

Para two : AIRTEL does not charge monthly rental for the modem they provide. .
A NON refundable security deposit of Rs 500
is to be paid for an Adsl modem Beetel 110BX1
or Rs 1000/= for WIFI Adsl modem+ router +WIFI Beetel 450BX1.
