better reboot at 2:10am and 7:50am to be on the safe side..
Not just to be on the safe side. This is not optional. If you fail to reboot on either occasion, and on any day of the week, you’ll be charged prohibitively. Please keep this in mind before you decide to use night unlimited.
@gmg9
What is your tariff plan ?
BSNL usage meters continue to log usage,
during over lapping charged/free times.
Sometimes it can be in 30 minutes block.
Example
start D/L at 0145AM and continue till 0500 AM
Full d/L being charged , probability exists.
or
it may be split into 0145-0215 charged usage
0215 to 0500 AM free. ( one entry or split entries )
Even MTNL has advised Users to switch off modem at
about 1200 and restart to avoid free D/L being charged.
Suggestion by @meetdilip has been advised ,by many , and special programs are available to
do this automatically.
That is News. I am not sure why it is not applicable in your case while all others are facing this problem. If you are using 500, 500C or 500 C+, you are likely to face this problem.

sorry for the delay.
i was in home 500c, but i never did that modem on/off trick while in this plan. my bill came ok. now i am on home750ul(reduced to 500/- till december). and still i am getting 150-200 kb dl speed.. still bills are ok.
why is that the trick is only applicable to those plans u mentioned, not users like us of any other plans. any clue ?
