Thread: ICICI Bank site: Personnal login page not opening

Yesterday onwards (Noticed )I've been facing a different problem. ICICI bank login page not opening. No issues with other pages(corporate login, NRI login etc). https://infinity.icicibank.co.in/Login.jsp

(1) First I cross checked the problem for me or not (PM to Kirankumar for cross checking). Yes the problem is with me only.

(2) Cleared all browsing history,cookies,offline data through CC clean.-No result
(3) Checked with other browsers (IE8,Opera, Chrome)-No result
(4) Swithced over to Ubuntu-No result
(5) Switched over to Open DNS servers-No result
(5) Googling... Got a link of IBF with similar problem http://www.indiabroadband.net/bsnl-b...t-opening.html (icicibank not opening...)
(7) tried this direct link https://infinity.icicibank.co.in/BAN...rate&abrdPrf=N _Not working
(8) As per this changed MTU values (My connection is in PPPoE mode : Modem- Nokia Siemens) 1500 to 1492 No result. 1492- 1452,1400 etc No result
(9) Try to access the site through proxy site: No result
(10) Tryto access the site through Sharekhan payment gateway-Only once the login page appeared. -Now today morning this is also not working.

Friends: Now what to do?? Anything I missed? Plz help.
Now Iam going to office.

wow!!You've seem to have done almost everything..any possibility of a firewall blocking?

Disabled the firewall. -No joy
I dont think in ubuntu also some firewall issues..I tried with ubuntu too

Now what to do? Any suggestions??

same problem here many sites are not opening and line drops off once in 10 minutes

may be it was angry with you so was not allowing you ...

Jokes apart, there is no need to panic. There could have been temporary issues. You can always contact the ICICI helpdesk for support.

IN TCP/IP properties .

Try
opendns 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222
keep bsnl DNS in the advanced list for reference .
