Unhappy Contivity VPN connectivity issue | Unable to complete encryption handshake

    Hi All,

I'm facing the classic problem of not getting through VPN connection. I have dna-a211-1 modem. Tried adding Ports (500 UDP, 50-51 TCP UDP) in the NAT settings, all possible resolution which came out of google, but nothing works.

The error which I get is:

    | Isakmpd | E | Unable to complete encryption handshake with remote side. Encryption Mismatch.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

    Default Thanks for response

Im attaching the images of NAT and security settings. I have removed ports 50,51 because they didn't make any difference. I'm so tired, please help me resolving the issue. I must be doing something stupid.

    Thanks a ton in advance

    Quick options:

    1.
Try to connect in LAN mode. Not WIFI.
    2
So many entries for your VPN connection ?
    Delete and keep ONLY one.
    3.
Your VPN IP address and port are confidential.

Check whether the port/s you have listed are open .

    4.
Also ensure all are checked in this page.

    5. Start RUN type cmd
type ping www.xxxxxx. com or net your VPN address.

you dont need to open any port to connect to a VPN server.. ( AFAIK) i have a feeling its a problem with your settings.. ask your network administrator regarding the settings, your encryption method in your vpn software is different from what the server is expecting.
