    Default wirless connection drops..

    Im using a UTstar wireless modem wa3002g4.I tried to secure the connection by changing the security setting in the DSL router.I readjusted the Network authentication to WPA PSK and also enterd the WPA pre shared key.I did the same settings on my lap but my wireless connection drops..Pls help..Also if any one knows how to secure the connection in abetter way..????

    how good is the wifi signal?? are you far away from the router?
