    Default Using separate interconnect connections at same time on same PC

    I am having 2 ADSL connections for my internet. One main connection is say A (192.168.1.1) and other connection is say B (192.168.1.2). Both these modems are connected to Switch. My PC is connected to Switch. All IPs are static, no DHCP. Both A and B internets are available to my PC. I keep both modems on all the time and when I need to switch from A to B on my PC, I simply change the gateway and DNS in my local area network setting in PC. I use NetSetMan freeware to keep on switching between 2 internets (NetSetMan changes the IP and DNS and Gateway quickly with shortcuts).

    I am looking to use both connections A and B for separate softwares at same time. e.g. I want to use connection B for my MSN and Yahoo messengers and at the same time I want to use connection A for my other internet use. Any way or software for such thing?

    A single computer can have one internet connection (A)at a time.
    Another (B) can be connected ,
    but only will take over , if (A) fails.
    Both cannot connect at the same time .
    Presume ISP's are different.

    I have DATAONE/Airtel, and change only the RJ11
    cable to the phone line.
    ( Beetel 110BX1 settings made )

    Utilizing a link balancer, you can connect multiple ISPs to one network. Check out Elfiq Networks - Link Load Balancer appliances for business continuity.
    Such devices will integrate into your network, use multiple ISPs, perform inbound and outbound balancing and much more

    I am not a networking expert but i think if you have 2 NIC's, adding static routes might help you achieve your purpose. Or you might probably want to buy some dual WAN router. I guess Dual wan routers might have these kind of features, to be able to control traffic.

    @nsdataone
    (1) Are the ISPs different ?
    (2) Give modems model and make.
    (3) Confirm You use a single computer.

    @harisk
    Please see Post No2 for link to DualWAN routers.

    What @netdataone needs

    I am looking to use both connections A and B for separate softwares at same time. e.g.

    I want to use connection B for my MSN and Yahoo messengers and at the same time

    I want to use connection A for my other internet use.

    Any way or software for such thing?
    Chat/view web cam etc in say Yahoo messenger via ISP1/modem 1/computer A

    Download movies/audio or surf
    via ISP 2/modem 2/Computer A etc.

    1. Yes, both ISPs are different. A is Dataone 8 mbps and B is HFCL Connect 3 mbps.
    2. A modem is TP-Link TD8810 and B has board ID (96338L-2M-8M) like in beetal etc. Both are wired modems.
    3. Computer is connect to an 8-port Intex Switch (not router) and both modems are connected to same switch.

    Thanks

    as mentioned above its possible , as with 1 LAN card you can connect to only 1 gateway , although there is a specific load balacing router which you can buy , and use both connections

    Yes its possible, I’m using 4 different ISP with 4 Local Area Network connected to 1 server. Each LAN consist of 8PC, I’m engaged also in ICafe bznz…No need to buy a balancer, just an old router and a switch wil do..

    what the user want is 2 softwares using 2 different ISP's which is not possible if they both use same ports.e.g.in dualWAN modem/router you have the option to define different port use different ISP's to carry traffic so you can set,say,FTP traffic using port 23 on one ISP & HTTP traffic on port 80 using another ISP but you can not use 2 applications using same port use different ISP's each.

    Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?
