I use Nokia Siemens C 2110 from BSNL which now costs Rs. 1000 + tax

It does not have wifi. An instrument with wifi from BSNL costs Rs. 1600 + tax

Mentioned because they are atleat 1000 rupees less than market price and can serve your purpose.

    Try this link

    BSNL BROADBAND MAIN MENU

I would recommend you buy a modem/router from BSNL as they will not provide support for any other modems. I have used UTStarcom's UT300R2U (only one eth port;no wireless); simple and easy to use, should cost Rs.1000+change. Currently I am using UTStarcom's WA3002G4 (4 eth ports and wireless), wired is working fine, having some issues with wireless. Check the thread - "wireless not working properly on W3002G4"in this forum. Should cost a little more than Rs.1700

on the whole , in terms of performance , netgear, linksys , dlink are almost the same , although netgear is the most affordable..

If you buy from BSNL, usually you do not get any choice of make/model. They give whetever is available in their stock.

Default DONT BUY Dling GLB502 -Anyone

I am not continuing with DLINK GLB502T.This product is total wastage of money and time.It gets disconnected whenever there is minor voltage fluctuation.Usin of UPS does not also help.Took all help form support, replaced the router three times, adapter once.Still problem continues. So thanks Dlink.Thats it.I am not using it anymore.By the way I purchased Iball Baton iBLR6111A.This is working fine. This model doesnot have Wifi support. But there is another model which have wifi support. This model cost me Rs.1,350/- at Guwahati,Assam.
