    1) You don't need to start more than one thread at once for your problem. Please delete the other thread yourself, or the mods can remove it they will be available.

    2) From the things you have mentioned in your post, it is somewhat clear that you are running a PC with low specs as of now. You need not worry about the firewall thing because it is just that firewall takes some time to start.

    3) That also doesn't seem to be something to be worried about. Upgrade your hardware (if you are running currently with low specs and want to improve your system performance) if you can.

    4) Use this tool and see if there is any improvement: http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...areCleanUp.exe
You can also use many of other tools like TuneUp Utilities and so, as many have said to have benefited from these also.

there are usually 2 reasons why your windows firewall can get disabled by default

1)virus/spyware disabling it automatically ( most common)
2)3rd party firewall disabling it..( you dont need more than 1 firewall)

    1. Firewall takes time to load.

It is common. You can improve this by clearing unwanted programs that start during start up.

    How to do it?

Start > Run > msconfig > Start up

Please remove the unwanted programs you recognize. Remember, do not remove programs you do not know, it can be Windows functions.

You are still to mention the firewall you use. If you use a firewall other than Windows Firewall, disable Windows Firewall.

    Procedure:

Start > control panel > Security Center > Windows Firewall > Off

It is always wise to use a firewall other than Windows Firewall.

Please close the programs that are not necessary. Remove messengers and similar programs from start up. You can do it manually. You can change these setting later if you find this uncomfortable.

If in case of a virus infection, try

    Thanks
@shebal are you using BSNL Broadband or Reliance Broadband.
The Reliance Broadband needs a web page of username and password for log in. BSNL dont need this.
