Default chk bb usage in linux using bsnl web client

this guide works for fedora, ubuntu, kubuntu. cause i have tested this. for other distros plz confirm by posting replies. thx

    1. whatever linux distro u use make sure that can run wine and u can successfully run wine apps on that. plz allow google to guide u for installing and configuring wine on ur linux distro or follow distro specific guides in their documentation/forums/irc. remember without wine u wont be able to run the bbusage.exe file. either u install wine or go back to stone age for playing with billindows.

    2. download the bsnl bb data usage checker bbusage.exe client for windows. donot forget to register for sms/email alerts about ur bb usage. its free .
    3. dl the required dll MSVBVM60.DLL file.

    4. place the dll MSVBVM60.DLL file in ur ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32/ or under where ever ur system32 folder is.
    5. now put that bbusage.exe file in ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/Program Files/ or where ever ur Program Files folder is.

    6. thats it, now if u run that bbusage.exe file by clicking it, it should ask u for ur bsnl bb login id (not portal id). just give ur login id including domain name. like user1@bsnl.in or user1@data.in. there is no need to provide the password. then click ok.

now it should show a small window with the msg "accepted for processing. please wait while we get the details" and then voila! its showing u the bb usage amount (in KB or MB).

above are the default and safe steps for running bbusage.exe under linux. u can play with it. there is no need to put those 2 files in the exact location i said, but u should remember that when u try to run that bbusage.exe file, it will call that dll file, so be careful with the paths.

    enjoy.

More the rep points, more the rep power. When you give someone a rep, you give him 2 points as your rep power is 2.

    seems incorrect information.

REP power shown here is based on the number of
posts you made and the number of rep points you got.
This is just to enthuse you.

So are you sure, if I give you rep points your count will go up by 6 ?
    No chance at all!
    ONLY @admin ( presume 10 points ) & @moderators ( 3 or 6 do not remember )can give extra rep points.

See my rep power in another forum.!!!
Based on Posts 7203 and Rep points received 425.

I think both counts. When I got 100 rep points, my rep power was increased to 2. Then after crossing 1000 posts, it again gained. 200 rep points will add another 1 point to my rep power. Both essbebe and Just4kix have some 270 -300 rep points. But Just4kix has some 6000 posts. Hence more rep power.

If you give me a rep, since your rep power is 6, I am more close to 200 points. Higher my rep power, more valuable my rep. Just4kix can give 10 points.
