You can rest the modem to default settings. The reset option depends on the modem make/model. If you post the same somebody having the same make/model can help
thanks for ur reply
i mean account password
(A)Mention modem model and make.
(B)Can you access the modem settings page/s?
(C)Do you have a 14digit portal ID to check usage ?
( default password is password)
(D)Easy method is to contact CC /exchange in person/
with proof of connection to get the log in password.
@matrix
If he resets the modem, he cannot login either in Dialup mode or "router' mode. ( No userIDpassword!)You can rest the modem to default settings.
For a new user, suggestions should be given carefully,
as we do not have any information about his Broadband experience.
I thought, he needs his USERID password.
You felt he wants modem access password.
Luckily he says he needs account password.
Still confusion !
@jaychan : Please clarify.

Check with your local exchange. They can give it to you in a minute. They normally keep them in their record. Explain your requirement. You can ask their assistance if you wish.
