Default Speed in Home unlimited 1350 plus

I am currently a subscriber to Home 500 C+. The speed is quite good. Download rate is above 200 Kbps most of the time and the bandwidth is around 1.7 mb.I tested the speed in one of my friend's connection who has subscribed to Home Unlimited 750 and it showed that the download speed is only 18 to 25 kbps. The BSNL says that in Home Unlimited 1350 plan the bandwidth is 512 kbps as against 256 kbps under Home UL 750 Plan. Has anyone subscribed to Home Unlimited 1350 and can tell whether the speed is faster than that of Home UL 750

I wonder how you got these values. I have UL 750, I get a minimum of 28 KBps consistently. With good servers, I get 31 KBps. Mostly unlimited connections has consistent speed. Expect a speed near to 60 KBps for UL 1350.

Please reveal your source of speed test. Is it torrents ?

To test speed, try speedtest.net or a download from Microsoft. Both give a better evaluation of your speed.

obviously UL 1350 speed is faster than UL 750 and speed should be (in plan UL 1350) 55-62 KBps.

There is a lot of gold in Saturn. We cannot dream of that.

Recently came across a speed test result from Singapore. The person was feeling it is low because he was getting only 100 Mbps.

lol....dude do some maths....ul 1350+ plan has unlimited 512 kBps bandwidth n 512/8=64kbs.....even if firewalls and antivirus may be consuming some bandwidth tht may be upto 5-6 kbps........250 kbps means 250 *8=2000kBps i.e 2mbps....dude thts a miracle......it cud be seen in a few shortbursts but regular 2 mbps on bsnl ul 1350 is rather unheard off...

One day I was shocked to see utorrent was downloading at 200 kbps or 1 MB in 5 sec. The whole day it was oscillating between 190-200 kbps while my average download speed was around 63 kbps. Then the next day it went back to the same average speed of 63 kbps.. That day was heaven and I used to download so much stuff ..

I`m from bangalore . Did any of you have any such surge of speeds ?

Just stop discussing useless stuff, you all looks like confused,
The thing is 1 kBps (Kilo Byter per second) = 8 kbps (Kilo Bit per second)

    Hey!
if u r a heavy downloader and can wake up at 2AM then stay on 500c+.
if u r a day downloader and want to surf without limits then go for Ul750 or UL1350.

    In UL750 speed=256Kbps=32KBps max.
    In UL1350 speed+512Kbps=64KBps max.
