    Default About modem problem

    My modem in c2110 (nokia) .
    As it has 4 lights(LED).
    one four power.
    Second for link.
    Third for data.
    Fourth for pc/usb.
    The third light is always off(data one) , but in my friends modem it always glow
    continuously .
    What it the reason that in my modem it does not glow......

    hmmmm...

    it happens sometime..when the led is gone,...ask some mechanic he will fix it..

    I use the same modem. The third one, indicates data transfer. If it does not blink, it means you are not connected to BSNL server. I check the green flash to identify whether the complaint is from line or not. Since you are able to connect to internet, it might be a faulty LED. You can register a complaint if you wish.

    there is no fault in led as i switch on modem all four glow.

    Iam also using the same modem.In bridge mode normally The Data LED will not blink. In PPPoE mode its blinking on data transfer.

    If you are so much in desire of wanting that LED glow just switch to PPPoE mode because as such in Bridge mode the Data Transfer LED does not glow ....

    set the PPPoE mode in your modem and put your user id and password there and log in from your modem. You see the data LED will glow up.
