    Default Bsnl Broadband Account Transfer!

    Hey , I'm a new entrant in this forumas i live in Bihar here i wanna know that could i carry forward my existing Bsnl Broadband Home-500 plan to another city like landline phone connection in the case of moving to another city as i'm little confused about this .Can(i.e. admin or any member) anyone give me a clear idea about this because it's my very first Post & Thread and i don't wanna disappoint:001_tongue:

    I think yes.

    ADSL connection is given for a particular BSNL fixed line. If you move, ADSL can be shifted to a BSNL line in the new location subject to availability in that area. No shifting charges are required to be paid.

    its possible but its a cumbersome process if u transfer also you are not going to retain your current number, if i am not wrong now a days you can easily apply for a new B.fone and a BB connection on that without a big waiting list (may vary from city to city).

    so just enquire whether its easily available where you are relocating and then proceed.

    In that case they will charge installation and modem charges. May be even advance.

    wel I've been connected to Broadband since september 2007

    It is certainly varies from city to city since I've been in Bihar and here Broadband is in his Beta Roop!

    I was pointing towards new connection costs. If you move your account and you get a land line no., no charges to be paid.
