Default Nokia C2110 Port Forwarding

I tried to setup port forwarding, not no luck. Sometimes I get really high speeds like 210KB/s but most of the time I get less than 70 with both single/multiple well seeded torrents. uTorrent's port checker says there's an error. I don't know anything about pppoe etc. Please help! I also tried various ports.

Enable upnp. CTRL + P in utorrent will take you there. Your problem seems to be a failure to configure static IP. Please go through

it looks like your ports are already open. if you get around 70 , it indicates that its open.. do you see a green tick mark in your torrent software?

Like I said I got 200KB/s steadily one night. Now I get 100-125KB/s sometimes 150KB/s on well seeded torrents.

Well seeded depends on a few factors. If your seeds/peers have lesser speeds, such torrents may give you only a lower speed. Try to download a live Knoppix CD and check the speed. You can also try a private tracker. If your line has some problems, you may get lower speeds.

I remember referring port forwarding guide in the previous post. It will be nice to update if you tried it or not.

just so that you know.if you have a firewall installed then in some cases uTorrent port checker will show port as closed but it is not.this happens because firefall has only allowed uTorrent to send & receive traffic through a port but this check also relies on http traffic through a web browser for which your firewall will not allow traffic.if you have the green tick in bottom bar of uTorrent then your port is open.

I too have Nokia Seimens C 2110

To do

1. Start > Run > cmd >ipconfig/all, check the IP is static. If you don't mind, post the screen shot.

2. Disable the firewall and check. You can remove the firewall from start up, restart the system and try downloading.

It happened with me for Zonealarm and Sygate firewall. Please mention your firewall.

3. Open utorrent, ctrl + p, play with Upnp settings. Check/ uncheck and try. (Will post the screen shots later).

You can also try Bridge mode as Sujith mentioned. Anything that gives a result is worth a try.

Please note that this is simply a trick that works for me. Please try at your own risk.
