    Phone line (Internet)===>>ADSL modem===>Linksys router===>. LAN

    1.
Mention modem/make of ADSL modem and linksy's router.
    2.
How many computers are used /?

    3. How do you connect to Internet /
    "Dialer" mode or "AlwaysOn"

    4. Your tariff plan . confirm you are given a static IP by BSNL.

Basically, let me explain about our network
    For an example
    1 - Internet DSL Modem
    2 - Linksys Router
    3 - Switch
    4 - LAN (includes 10 computers)

So, basically in this sequence we have setup our network.
On this network static ip has been configured on the DSL Modem.
So, my problem is if i connect to DSL Modem to Switch then it is working fine.
And i am able to connect to Remote Desktop Connection.
But while i am Using Linksys router between DSL Modem and Switch then it is not working and i am not able to Remote Desktop Connection From another Location.

So, how may i configure a remote desktop connection?

Please do mention the complete details requested. Still to mention modem - model and make. Mode - PPPoE or Dialler.

No, we have not to disabled DHCP in Linksys Router. It is enabled.
See, basically, what i have done.
1 - I have My DSL Cable Connect to Switch and Assign the Port Range Forwarding with My windows Terminal Service computer then it is working.
2 - I have also tried While i am DSL Cable connect through directly to My Windows Terminal Service computer then it is also works.

But the thing is that while i am connecting like DSL Cable Connect to Linksys router and Linksys Router Cable to Switch and Switch to Destination Computer.

I have attached the diagram of the our network setup.
So, Now tell me how to do it? and what to do it?
I am repeating the Question: How to map remote desktop connection to our network? In the network which you have shown Windows 2003 Terminal Services, i need to map to that computer.

1 John = server of your LAN?? - Yes, John is server of my lan. And i want to make destination of remote desktop connection. While our other office wants to connect through the remote desktop connection then it will map to this server. i have a one domain which is hosting on my static ip whcih is assign on DSL Modem.

    2. is the ip of the modem and the linksys of the same 192.168.x.x?? or 192.168.x.x and 192.168.y.x ?? - Yes, Both IP are Modem and the linksys of the same 192.168.x.x And i have tried to change the IP of the linksys on 192.168.y.x and allocate that linksys ip on DSL Modem for NAT/port forwarding of port 3389. But it won't work.

    3. does cable from modem go to LAN or WAN port of router?? i presume from your seutp , LAN port?? - See, basically my linksys router is setup on static IP XXX.XXX.X.XX And this linksys router static ip is defined into the ARP. Linksys router is basically for LAN and DSL Modem is for WAN. So, i think Cable from modem go to WAN Port. And cable from router go to switch. and switch has LAN Port.

yes you should go through the linksys. but connect it to the LAN port instead of the WAN port.. you dont need th WAN port , since your modem is already doing the authenticating..

then you need to setup the MODEM in bridged mode . and configure the linksys router to pppoe mode , thats where you enter the username and password...here's a tutorial on bridged mode Prashanth Speaks-Technology and Life: How to Setup bridged mode in UT300R2U,WA3002G4 you dont have to create the xp dialer though since you will be configuring your linksys to pppoe mode
