Unhappy cannot access modem! please help! :(

well, i have got bsnl broadband for quite sometime now. i'm using the huawei Quidway WA1003A modem. i configured my modem to work with my laptop via wireless lan and everything was cool. but then i had to reset my modem because my desktop wasnt getting connected. [basically i was triying the multiuser configuation]

now after resetting my modem, i'm unable to access the modem homepage from both my laptop and desktop. [no matter whatever i use i.e LAN, USB, WLAN].

i'm using the same address 192.168.1.1
please let me know how to get over with this problem...thanks a lot in advance.

i have tried resetting the modem 3-4 times but still i cant go to the modem home page.

    internet is working fine.

Restart your system and modem. Try again.

Check your external IP. Type it in your address bar and check.

May be this will be useful

Run "Ipconfig /all" at command prompt and post its output.

    Default huawei Quidway WA1003A modem.

    internet is working fine.
after resetting my modem, i'm unable to access the modem....
    1.
Start /Network/ LAN or Wireless LAN
    Properties.
    TCP /IP
    Properties.
    Select Obtain IP address automatically.
    SAVE Apply.

    2.
    Now
Start RUN type cmd type ipconfig /all
    you should get say
    192.168.1. 3 desktop ( laptop 192.168.1.4)
    255.255.255.0
    192.168.1.X ( modem's gateway )

    3. Now try to access the modem.
Does the log-in page open ?
    if so
try admin admin ( default )
what is the error message ?
    or
Try multiplay PW admin or password or utstar

    4. Still unable to access the modem menu
    check your IP
My IP address? Free IP Address tracer, IP address lookup, IP address finder
type it in IE address bar.

do you get a window for access to Modem?
Clear temp files and cache and try. or restart modem.

    feedback.
