    Question multiple connections.

i have quidway WA1003A modem and i'm using the 250 home plan.

anyways, i want to connect my laptop with the modem via WLAN and simultaniously connect my desktop via LAN with the modem and surf the net.

is this possible? i dont know.

if yes...please let me know the configuration.

please see the your other thread
    "cannot access modem please help"
    and reply/update there please.

    see these links.
    first one with screen shots.
The little I know about Dataone Broadband Services offered by BSNL

    http://www.calcuttatelephones.com/da...all/mdm05.html

Ensure you enabled DHCP in the modem.
Try with "Always On" connection . Not "bridged"
In TCP/IP of both desktop and laptop
    select
    Obtain IP address automatically.
    Save Apply.
If you want you can use OpenDNS 208.67.220.220
    and 208.67.222.222. also.

    Feedback.

sorry i dint know that i dont need to use the dialer.

i can access the internet now. but the speed is horrible.i mean it is seriously horrible. it is taking more than 2 minutes to respond! its worse than a dial - up connection!
