Default Wanted to stop connection for 4 months

I am a H500 C+ subscriber and i wanted to stop my BB connection for the upcoming 4 months because i m going abroad and will return india after 4 months.

is their any way so that i can stop BB service so that i will be charged only for land line calls.

or i have to lower to to 125 plan.

    One more question.
H500C+ connection deposits security at the time of plan change.
I submitted Rs 500 or Rs 600 at that time.
How can now i get back that money.

I don't think there is any way to temporarily stop a broadband connection for 4 months. You can either terminate your broadband connection by giving an application which will take another 1 month or you can ask for a lower broadband plan like the home 125 plan.

Don't know about the security deposit. Talk to your local telephone exchange.

Yes. BB account can be deactivated and
    resumed after 4 months.
If phone is to be used,
    mention that in application.
get a stamped receipt in your application copy.

To get the BB deposit you have to
    surrender/disconnect the BB connection.
or it may be adjusted in future
    telephone rental/call charges.

    After returning from abroad,
you may have to pay Installation charges again,
    for a new BB connection.

    You cannot stop it temporary.

Rather you can Surrender and try to get back your old number.

    I did it once.

But you will lose al your credits(not money lolz) and considered as fresh user.

ONce i surrendered by BSNL for 1 month and used WLL.

Within a month i got my LL Back. At the same time BSNL released the 5GB Special Download limit for one month.

Alas!! I was not eligible for that as i was considered as a fresh.

    So beware.!!!

    There are four options;
    Option 1.
    (1) Safe custody of telephone
( your old telephone number is available after temp
safe custody period min three months ))
    see.
    Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd.

Safe Custody Plan for Landline services min Rs 50/PM.
( Present plan One India Plan Rs 180/PM rent)
(* BB connection also disconnected Not billed ?)

    Option 2:
    (2) Surrender the telephone
    Then BB also disconnected.
get refund after some time and correspondence, and
    visits to A.O.

    Option 3:
    (3) Retain telephone AND Disconnect BB connection
    temporarily.
    This is possible.

    But not mentioned anywhere.
    Contact.
    CC call Number '1800-424-1600'

If allowed, Go to your bsnl usage portal
and check/confirm what is the message in MY ORDERS,
from elsewhere using your 14digit portal ID.

    Option 4 ;
    surrender existing BB connection completely.
Modem , if on rent to be returned.
No installation charges for OWN modem.http://www.bsnl.in/service/dataone_tariff.htm#home

Minimum Hire period for all Broadband plans will be one month.
In case of surrender of Broadband Connection after one month,
    the charges shall be recovered on pro-rata basis;
    Ask for new connection later.

If I may say, simply change to Home - 125 plan. You will get the deposit amount back as you are moving to a basic plan. Just before you return, your parents/friends can apply a plan change to Home 500 C+. Otherwise BSNL will come up with some unforeseen troubles.
