Thread: Want to use WLAN in MT 841 modem

Hello,

I am using Huawei Samartax MT 841 modem, presently i am using the broadband through LAN,but i want to use wireless connection.
Please tell me that what changes are required to made in the modem to use the broad band by WLAN? I am using windows XP.

if your modem is type III
and it has Wi-Fi then follow the steps given billow
in IE type 192.168.1.1
give user name and password as admin
it opens the router configuratipn wizard
then wirless tab enable wi-fi
that's over the connection
connect your laptop
and dail the bb connection
