| Junior Member |  Broadband wireless connection I am having BSNL broadband and the modem is UTStar wireless. My grandchildren are having a computer in another room. I tried to connect that computer also through wireless bby using D-Link USB wireless adapter. But the connection is not stable in that computer due to partition wall between the rooms. Can I connect another ADSL modem to that computer so that they can browse games etc.? An extension of the same telephone line is available at their room. If it so what brand of ADSL modem can be used. |

Rep Power: 3  | You can use any brand of ADSL modem but in this demerit is that you will not be in a position to use both the adsl modems simultaneously. If your modem has more than one Ethernet Port then you can run one Ethernet cable to other room which seems more feasible. You may find this useful: Boost your wi-fi range. Cheap! Or wait for other members to come out with more ideas... thanks. |
