    Question problem downloading with vista

i was using windows XP earlier. But thankx to compaq, after purchasing c773tu, i had to switch 2 vista. with xp i used to download 3-3.4 GB per night with bsnl combo500 plan(0200 to 0800 hrs). but with vista it is not being possible to d/l more than 1.5 GB in that time? has it something 2 do with vista or bsnl itself? pl help.

That is absolutely a wrong belief you are having.

It may be a BSNL problem.

Check whether the port of your µTorrent is forwarded properly.

OS has nothing to do with download speed unless firewall settings are altered.

yeah you should try forwarding the port. or else you can also check the firewall settings of vista or any other firewall that u might have installed.

It might be the firewall. Configure it to all the utorrent or your torrent client.
