Exclamation need help with beetel 450bxi
m using bsnl home plane...when i try connecting with default modem provied by the bsnl i am able to connect....but prob begins when i attach beetel 450bx1 after tht i m not able to open 192.168.1.1/main in my web browser wht shut i do and i ws using this beetel wth my airtel connection it ws working fine.... and is beetel 450bx1 asdl2+router is modem too....pls help me wth detail

Change VPI/VCI to 0 and 35.
Mention bsnl MODEM ROUTER model/make
See this link for similar settings.

Chennai Telephones- Changing password in DataOne Pre-configured modem

Use one at a time.
You can select 1_32 for airtel
and 0_35 for BSNL
I use Beetel 110BX1 for both.

since you say you cannot access your modem , you should try setting up static ip in your machine so that you will be able to access 192.168.1.1 Prashanth Speaks-Technology and Life: Internet Works on one PC but not on the Other - WINDOWS

Give a ip address to your system say something different than 192.168.1.1 for sure you can access your router.

now m using bsnl dataone modem ut300r2r ....and instead i want to use beetel 450bx1....but after all the afford i wsnt succesful...i am not able to veiw modem page i.e 192.168.1.1...pls describe me wht shud i do..wht i tried so far is as below::

i changed my ipv4 setting to 192.168.1.2/255.255.255.0/192.168..1.1
and dns with 208.67.222.222/208.67.220.220

pls guide me guys...i really need ur help

@chadvic,


Please reset 450bx1 modem, it might be possible that you had changed ip address of the modem. hence when you reset the modem it will again return to the default settings where modem will be having default ip of 192.168.1.1. You will find a small round hole at the back side of the modem (other than square holes) to reset. Keep it pressed for around 5-10 sec. all lights will go and starts blinking afterwards.

i did ur method....i jst pressed tht rst button for abut 1min nuthing happened....i ws still not able to reset it pls give me some other advice to reset my router so tht i am ablt to acces my router page....pls help out

@ chadvic

this is the only method to reset the router . Keep the reset button pressed till all lights go off and then release the button . try this, one or two times, this will not lead to any malfunctioning of router so dont worry......before trying this, try to get the ip automatically through dhcp of router where u will come to know the ip address of the router.

Unhappy still ..
m not able to acces the router page tht is 192.168.1.1 tht y i cant get to dhcp setting for router ....wht shud be my step nw to reset it ...and hardware means pls help out....

Have you changed connection from Telephone junction
rj11 cable to beetel, and then thr RJ45 from bsnl modem to
Beetel ?
with only Beetel connected :
Start network / LAN properties
status.
repair.
report result.
Also start run type cmd type ipconfig /all
with (a) BSNL modem connected
and (b) Beetel modem/router/WIFI connected.
report data.
