hey,
i just bought a utstarcom wa3002g4 BSNL modem. I am able to connect to internet using wired connection. But when I try to connect through wireless, its not connecting showing limited or no connectivity. And I am not able to go to 192.168.1.1 also. Please help me....

I am using Vista...

1.Start RUN type cmd type ipconfig /all
Post Data here.

2.Start Network / show all connections
select Wireless
REPAIR
what is the error message you get ?

3. Connect to Internet.
Check your dynamic IP
Display IP Address
Enter it in address bar.
Do you get the Modem opening page ?

And I am not able to go to 192.168.1.1 also. Please help me....

You may have to reset THE MODEM.
YOU WILL LOOSE THE PRESENT CONNECTION.
Reset access can be in the back or
a small round hole in the bottom right side.
Press for 20 or 30 seconds wit power On , with
a ball pen tip.

Wireless settings to be made in the wifi router.


Start/Network/ Wireless Network/ Properties
uncheck IPV6
select TCP/IP
properties
Select obtain IP address automatically
or enter
192.168.1.5
255.255..255.0
192.168.1.1

DNS:
Obtain automatically or
208.67.220.220
and 208.67.222.222.
Apply SAVE
