Thread: Slow Upload Speed !!!

I'm using Home 500 plan for last 2 yrs. My download speed in µTorrent during free night hours ranges from 160 - 200 kBps but my upload speed reaches maximum 20 - 24kBps and never greater than that even if I stop all downloads and seed at highest bandwidth.

Is this normal or anything wrong with my connection ?

In utorrent set your speed and try. When you set speed as upto 2 Mbps, more uploading will take place.

Ctrl + P and check the bandwidth in utorrent preferences.

thats cause your upstream is only 256kbps , which means a max of 32KB/s.. so 24kb/s is not bad..

Usually users (including me) get upto 70-80 kBps upload speed.
Just like meetdilip asked, change your connection bandwidth limit, and set your max upload speed to '0' (no restriction). Slow speed might also be due to the state of the torrent.
